DRY

Dry was a very interesting and quick paced read. I wasn't expecting to find such humor in a end of the world kind of book but I really appreciated it. I picked up this book because I was very fond of the Scythe series and it sounded promising. I did like that it touched base about gun violence and global warning.

I had to constantly remind myself that the characters are only 15-16 years old and couldn't possibly understand the real danger they were in.
(Even though 3 of them were in the top of their class).
There was so many times that I got so frustrated at the decisions that were made. I don't think anyone really thought out the plans. When things got really serious they sorta just runaway?

The plot was everywhere. The back and forth between certain parts of area being affected by the drought was kinda unnecessary. I didn't understand most of those scenes. If this book hadn't been such a light read, I don't think I could have gotten though it.
