I'm not really sure where this book is going but I'm willing to stick with it. The beginning was a bit hard to get into. The world is very complex and the chapters go back and forth with different characters. There's quite a bit of character development that I'm not sure I understand. Again this is only the beginning of the book so I kept pushing myself to finish. I kept trying to scroll through the last page wanting for more of the book. It stopped as soon as things were starting to heat up. Keralie's story line really interest me the most so far due to her being very clever thief.  She moves fast and follows her instincts instead of hesitating. This is a standalone so I'm hoping the actual book won't leave us on cliffhanger like the sneak peak.
