This book is a quick paced young adult novel that will make you believe in love at first sight again.

I really liked the raw emotions to this book. It felt like I was reading something that was could have been a Sarah Dessen book. There was times that I felt like Sarah and Jake were worlds apart but the love between them was so unique. It was nice to get a bit of POV from Brie's brother, Lief. I honestly felt like he was the most reasonable person throughout the story. Where Jake was the boy next door with mama issues, Brie was the girl that had everything but a complete heart.

The way both characters constant stare at each other did make me a little uncomfortable. It seemed a bit unnatural for both characters to always catch each other doing something. Both Jake and Bries life were pretty busy so I'm not sure how they found the time for each other. I like that none of the characters were perfect but it bother me a bit that there wasn't someone who didn't have something crazy going on with them.
